What is Residex Insights?
Residex Insights is a modern analytics platform built into the Residex application that replaces manual, export-heavy reporting with real-time dashboards. It brings clinical, operational, and administrative data that already lives inside Residex into graphical dashboards that clinical leaders, operations directors, and compliance officers can act on immediately, without leaving the platform.
What dashboards are included in v1.0?

The free tier launches with seven dashboards across three functional areas:

  • Clinical Quality & Compliance: Assessment Completion & Accuracy (compliance backbone), Documentation Gap Surfacing (license protection)
  • Operational: Census by Care Level, Occupancy Rate & Revenue per Occupied Bed, Move-In & Move-Out Trend

How is Residex Insights different from standard Residex reporting?
Standard Residex reports are static, export-heavy, and reviewed after the fact. Residex Insights dashboards are real-time, graphical, and interactive. You can drill down by unit, resident, caregiver, or date range without exporting data. The dashboards are designed for the specific questions clinical and operations leaders ask every day: Are assessments on track? Are there undocumented gaps? What is our current occupancy and revenue trajectory?
Can I customize the dashboards?
The v1.0 dashboards are standardized across all communities to ensure consistency and compliance rigor. In the future, we expect to expand customization options for advanced users. For now, focus is on delivering reliable, out-of-the-box dashboards that answer the highest-priority clinical and operational questions.
What data sources feed Residex Insights?

Residex Insights pulls from the Residex platform: the EHR and clinical care records, electronic medication administration records (eMAR), census and admission/discharge data, assessment records, and billing data. All data is sourced in real time from your Residex instance, so dashboards always reflect your community's current state.

When is Residex Insights available?

Residex Insights v1.0 became available on September 30, 2026, and is immediately available to all existing and new Residex customers.

Who should use Residex Insights?

Residex Insights is designed for clinical leaders (Directors of Nursing, Clinical Nurses), operations directors, compliance officers, and facility administrators who need real-time visibility into clinical quality, documentation, census, occupancy, and financial metrics. Any Active User on a Residex account can access the dashboards.

How do I enable Residex Insights for my community?

Residex Insights will be enabled by default for all customers as of September 30, 2026. A new Insights menu item will appear in the main Residex navigation ribbon. No additional steps are required. If you have questions, your Residex representative or support team can walk you through the dashboards.

Is there an additional cost for Residex Insights?

No. Residex Insights v1.0 is included with all Residex licenses at no additional cost. Every existing and new customer has access to the clinical quality, operational, and financial dashboards starting September 30, 2026.
