Care, it's at the core of everything we do.

Our story.

Innovating intelligent care solutions since 2000.

In 2000, founder Dave Berg launched Residex™ to fill a gap in senior care software after a major Midwest provider struggled to find adequate solutions. With no viable options on the market, Residex set out to create smarter tools tailored for the unique needs of assisted living. From the start, we've prioritized collaboration – building our platform alongside practicing nurses across varied care settings and regulations. This user-focused approach remains at the heart of our mission: Better Software, Better Care. As the industry shifted, so did Residex. We transitioned from locally-hosted systems to a web-based platform, launching RTasks.net in 2013 to meet the growing demand for cloud solutions. In 2024, a strategic investment from AKKR further strengthened our mission – empowering us to advance our technology and rebrand RTasks under our parent name, Residex. Today, Residex delivers a robust suite of clinical tools – supported by a world-class team of healthcare professionals and developers – that empowers caregivers to provide intelligent care.

Caring.

At the heart of the Residex Platform is a commitment to those who provide care. Our technology solutions and support are designed with empathy, making daily tasks easier so caregivers can focus on what truly matters – supporting residents with compassion and dignity.

Agile.

At Residex, we adapt quickly to evolving caregiver needs. The tasks are intuitive and flexible, ensuring caregivers can efficiently manage their workflows without disruption. By staying ahead of industry trends, we provide innovative, scalable technology that grows with users.

Experienced.

With deep industry knowledge, we understand the complexities of assisted care. The expertise of our nurses and administrators allows us to design a workflow that aligns with real-world caregiving challenges, ensuring reliability and compliance.

Meet our leadership team.

The Residex leadership team brings a wealth of experience and a clear, steady vision that shapes our culture and fuels our success. With a firm belief that our people are our greatest asset, our leadership champions a values-driven approach that prioritizes accountability. These values don’t just guide how we work internally – they naturally extend into our relationships with clients, creating a shared sense of purpose. The line between team and client often feels indistinct, thanks to the mutual respect and aligned ethics that define how we operate, together.
